It is very important to understand that at Dr. Willa's House, each alcohol abuse rehab client is going to begin and complete an alcoholism addiction treatment plan that is highly customized to their unique situation and circumstances in life.

Drug Detox

Unmonitored drug detoxification can be a long, painful and dangerous process without trained help. Dr. Willa’s House is physician owned to give you the assurance and trust that you or your loved one will safely complete their drug detox with an expanded level of care. Clients and family members get great comfort in knowing that Dr. Willa is a Board Certified Emergency Room Physician and lives on site for closer drug detox monitoring. Eating disorders are classified as a group of serious eating problems and/or obsessions whereby you are so preoccupied with food and weight that you can often focus on little else. An eating disorder creates a severe mental block and is difficult to treat.

Dual Diagnosis

Dual diagnosis, also known as (co-occurring disorder is used to describe the comorbid condition of a person considered to be suffering from an emotional issue in conjunction with a substance abuse problem. A recent study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association found that “44% of alcohol abusers and 64% of other substance abusers had, in addition to their drug addiction or alcoholism problem, at least one serious mental illness and/or eating disorder problem.

Transitional Living

Transitional living (Transitional Housing) is a great treatment phase for persons completing alcoholism and/or drug rehab but still require additional counseling, structure and drug testing. A person in transitional living will seek and gain employment. Our life skills program will help them prepare for the interview process and will monitor and ensure employment progress.

Sober Living

Good sober living homes will offer a safe clean residential environment and will require the recovering party to attend meetings, test clean on drug tests, participate in house responsibilies and comply with the rules of the sober recovery house. Unforunately, many recovering alcoholics and drug addicts will still need a mentoring process and continued counseling. Dr. Willa understands this and designed her sober living house by the sea in OC, CA to include these additional sober recovery programs to further ensure sobriety success.
