Transitional Living is for those persons who have completed drug rehab or alcohol rehab addiction treatment before and want the benefits of a treatment program with the freedom to work at the same time. Clients live on site and can leave and go to work.

How long is alcohol detox and drug detox?
- There is a 3-day minimum detox. If your detox is 10-days or longer, then the daily cost is reduced. The detox period for alcoholics ranges from 3-14 days. The detox period for drug abuse and depending on the drug types ranges from 3-30+ days.
- If your detox period is going to be over 10-days and you need rehab, then keep in mind that detox is free if you enter our 90-day drug abuse or alcoholism rehab addiction treatment program.

How long is alcohol rehab and drug rehab?
- Dr. Willa's House offers alcoholism and drug abuse rehab treatment for 30, 60 and 90-day or longer periods of time. What period of time you need depends on factors such as how long you have been using, daily quantity of use, health issues and more. As a general rule, if you have not done rehab before, and have been using for over two-years, then you may be a candidate for 90-days or longer. Dr. Willa can give you a more accurate answer after talking to you and reviewing your intake information. Regardless of Dr. Willa's professional recommendation, you decide how long your addiction rehab process is. Call for a price that is specific to your needs.

What times of the day can I check-in?
- Dr. Willa's House is open everyday of the year and is a 24/7 for check-in addiction treatment facility. If you want to see Dr. Willa during the check-in process, then you must check-in between 11:00am and 5:00pm. If your check-in is later than 5:00pm, you will not see Dr. Willa until the following morning. If you insist on check-in after 5:00pm and you want to see Dr. Willa, there will be an additional charge of $400.00.

What should I bring with me?
- Bring casual cloths and include beach and workout clothing. For most of the year the temperature during the day in Southern California is warm. Evenings are cooler so bring a sweater. Toiletry items are provided. Please bring your own if you use unique or special products that we may not have. You can bring your cell phone and laptop but neither may be used during the detox period. The detox period ends when you are no longer using detox medications. Personal items such as: cell phone, laptop, portable music devices, money, wallet, purse and other things of value will be locked away when not approved for use or carry.

What is a typical day like?
- Unlike other alcoholism and drug rehab facilities, Dr. Willa's House offers more personalized one-on-one counseling sessions per client. Based on the clients addiction treatment plan, a typical day will include a combination of on-site individual and/or group sessions and activities. Some activities and meetings occur off-site. Unlike other addiction treatment facilities, we make sure that clients have enough personal time to relax and process what they are discovering and learning. At Dr. Willa's House we utilize more programs such as life skills training and biofeedback training to enhance long-term recovery.

Our insurance director has 23 years of experience and will do everything in his power to get payment. Regardless, payment in full is required prior to alcoholism and drug detox and/or rehab.
